Setting Up Notifications in the Alarm.com App

Step-by-Step Guide:
  1. Open the Alarm.com App:
    • Launch the app on your mobile device.
    • Log in with your credentials.
  2. Access Notifications:
    • Tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the upper-left corner.
    • Select "Notifications" from the menu.
  3. Create a New Notification:
    • Tap the “+” icon or “Add Notification.”
    • Choose the type of notification you want to set up (e.g., system events, arming/disarming, sensor activity).
  4. Customize Your Notification:
    • Set the specific conditions for the notification.
    • Choose how you want to be notified (e.g., push notification, email, text message).
    • Assign recipients if necessary.
  5. Save the Notification:
    • Review your settings.
    • Tap “Save” to activate the notification.
Example Notifications:
  • System Arming/Disarming: Get notified when the system is armed or disarmed.
  • Sensor Activity: Receive alerts when specific sensors (e.g., doors, windows) are triggered.
  • Alarms: Be alerted immediately when an alarm goes off.
Managing Notifications:
  • Edit Existing Notifications: Tap on an existing notification to modify its settings.
  • Delete Notifications: Swipe left on the notification you want to remove and tap “Delete.”
